Who we are
This website, sprayfoamremovalliverpool.co.uk, is run by Spray Foam Removal Liverpool. We provide spray foam insulation removal and related loft services across Liverpool and Merseyside. For the purposes of UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@sprayfoamremovalliverpool.co.uk.
What information we collect
When you fill in the contact form on our website, we collect:
- your name
- your phone number
- your postcode
- the service you are interested in
- any message you write to us
- the address of the web page you sent the form from
When you call or email us, we collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, the property address and details about your loft and the work you need. If you send photos or documents, such as a survey or valuation report, we keep those too.
Why we use your information
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, talk to you about your loft, arrange a visit, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and record the work. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not send newsletters.
Our lawful basis
We rely on two lawful bases under the UK GDPR. Where you have asked us for a quote or for work, we use your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then to perform that contract. Otherwise, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, which we balance against your rights and interests. For analytics cookies, we rely on your consent.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where we need to:
- The specialist who carries out the work. Depending on location and the work needed, your job may be carried out by an independent local specialist we work with. We share the details they need to contact you and do the job, and we will always tell you who is coming.
- Our service providers. Our website hosting and email providers store and process information on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it secure.
- Where the law requires it. We may disclose information if we are legally required to.
We never sell your personal information or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to any work, we keep your details for up to 2 years in case you get back in touch, then delete them. If a job goes ahead, we keep the records we need – such as quotes, invoices and the written report – for as long as needed for our business, tax and legal records.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are read most. Analytics cookies are only set if you agree to them. We use Google Consent Mode, so if you decline, Google Analytics does not store analytics cookies on your device. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. Our site may also use strictly necessary cookies needed for it to work, which do not require consent.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using reputable hosting and email providers, limiting who can access it, and only sharing what is needed for the job.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you (access)
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete (correction)
- ask us to delete your information (deletion)
- object to us using your information based on our legitimate interests (objection)
- ask us to restrict how we use your information in some cases
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time
To use any of these rights, email info@sprayfoamremovalliverpool.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
